Depending on your nationality, you may or may not require a visa to enter the UAE.
     
  No entry visa is required for GCC citizens.
  Citizens of the following 33 countries will be issued with a free-of-charge VISIT VISA on entry to the UAE: Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, UK, United States and Vatican.
 
  Citizens of other countries should apply to their nearest UAE embassy.
  Information concerning visa requirements is subject to change and visitors should always check with their travel agent or nearest UAE embassy before travelling. Over-stayers could be detained / fined.
 
  An eye scan is required for everyone except GCC citizens and the 32 visa-exempt nationalities.
  A visa can also be requested through the hotel you are staying at, after your reservation is confirmed.
  If you are flying with Etihad or Emirates Airways, a UAE visit visa may be arranged for you upon request. Contact your Etihad / Emirates agent directly.
